Zapatilla Productions

Domingo, of 30 years old, born and raised in Madrid, Cradled of clubs and new tendencies from which at an early age started to submerged himself in to. As soon as he could he travel with his vinyl case to Majorca & Ibiza not much did he play, but he did enjoy de great sessions of great Dj’s, that later would mark he’s style and direction.

Around 1995 makes contact with DJ’s, local collectives in Madrid and begins he’s activities in raves and free parties, together with friends which some of them are now recognised Dj’s in the Madrid scene, and internationally like Kiko Barba, Ivan Smoka, Pelacha…etc

He’s greatest jump makes it in 2004 were he switches he’s residency to Brighton (UK) were he begins to make friendships with numerous artist’s, promoters and productors which encouraged him to return behind the dj decks.

Since 2005 not many week’s have gone by with out starting one of he’s sessions the beginning of the collective “Zaptatilla Productions NON-STOP”, starting with private parties and clandestine after-hours, due to the early finish of the clubs in that moment (2-3am). Here is were Zapatilla acquired the adjective NON-STOP.

After the virtuous summer of 2005 and leaving a serious footmarks Brighton (UK) Domingo travels to India en search for some peace and spiritual tranquillity. Only to last until he arrives to GOA were he Disturbs slightly he’s inner peace to acquired more music for he’s collection and delighting some local’s with some of he’s finest sessions, inclining towards tribal rhythms in particularly PSY trance, comes from around those beaches.

Comes back to Brighton in the summer 2006 were he’s collective Zapatilla Productions is already building solid base with the extended time of opening times for bars and clubs. In that moment was with out a doubt were Domingo enjoyed he’s demand as a Dj and were slowly transfers he’s style to Electro with traces of hundreds of colours that surrounds he’s past. (House, tribal, psy, techno…)

The most well know clubs that he has played are Ocean Rooms, Arc… monthly resident at the Pressure Point and weekly the prestigious Zap Club were even now continues to make he’s public sweat.

After making he’s technological jump with “Final Scratch” he’s disponibility and possibility of movement has tripled, and has made him more tighter and versatile, if it fits, knowing how to adapt he’s music to every public and enjoying watching the audience dance the night away.
